Notebook QWERTZY Question

How can i use the notebook QWERTZY for the virtual keyboard docked in Reaper, whil have an VSTi open AND step through the presets. cause when i select the VSTi-window for preset selection, the QWERTZY doesnt function for noteplayback... any idea or is it not possible cause of windows window "design", selected/unselected window.

Search the forums - Justin posted some patches for this problem a long time ago. Shame Reaper doesn't get the keyboard from Windows like other software does.

Arm the track. The red R has to be showing. The 'In' button speaker has to be either white or green, not outlined. Click the 'In' button and choose 'Midi Input'> Virtual midi keyboard. Click 'View' in the toolbar and choose 'Show Virtual Midi Keyboard'. You have to click on the keyboard to give it focus. Now you can play the laptop's keyboard.
